Sunday Dogs Hangover

I'm still a little bummed but have made peace with the fact that we did not win the game and did not...ugh...deserve to win the game. We did everything I hoped. We got stops, got a key turnover, and didn't make any huge mistakes. What we didn't do was execute on offense in the first half.

King, Samuel, and Ealey combined for 45 yards.

Huh?

Yeah. 45 yards rushing for the Georgia Bulldogs in a major SEC matchup. I know it's hard to not pass the ball when we've been so successful doing so. Great. At least then use the pass game to establish a late running game. Do one or the other but at least establish ball movement on our terms. We went out there and let the LSU defense dictate to us what we needed to do rather than us doing what we wanted to do.

Whatever...we've still got a lot of football to play...it just bums me out to know for certain in early October that you've got ZERO chance of a National Title. We can only hope to spoil the seasons of others by winning the SEC.
